Preview build — design preview on sample copy. The waitlist form is inert: nothing you type is sent or stored.

For serious self-publishing authors

Write the book. Keep the receipts.

One workflow from first draft to KDP and IngramSpark. AI proposes, you accept every word, and a Provenance Ledger records who wrote what — to the paragraph.

One continuous workflow

Nothing re-typed. Nothing drifts out of sync.

  1. 01

    Write

A genre-aware manuscript canvas with named agents — Line edit, Expansion, Developmental review — that propose in a side rail. A persistent Story Bible and a Coherence Engine catch the brown eyes that were grey-green in chapter two.

Six launch genres · snapshots · focus mode

  2. 02

    Produce

Interior layout, cover assembly from artwork you supply, EPUB and print validation, and a readiness gate where every check cites the retailer rule that produced it.

KDP · IngramSpark · EPUBCheck · DAISY Ace

  3. 03

    Launch

A resumable walkthrough for each retailer with every field pre-filled from your metadata, and the AI-disclosure answer read straight from the ledger.

Pricing and royalty computed from versioned rule sets

  4. 04

    Grow

Branded book pages, reader quizzes, ARC campaigns with compliant language, and a launch dashboard — consent-gated, cookie-minimal.

The Provenance Ledger

“What did AI write?” has an answer.

Every paragraph carries an origin class — Human, AI assisted, AI generated — written to an append-only ledger the moment you accept. Retailer disclosure questions are answered from the ledger, never typed from memory. Your governance cap is enforced before a single token is spent.

Questions

Before you ask

Does the AI write my book?

No. Agents propose; nothing enters the manuscript until you accept it, word by word or with an edit. Every acceptance is written to the Provenance Ledger with its origin class.

What does the ledger record, and who can see it?

Origin class, model and version, scope and timestamp per paragraph — append-only, exportable as JSONL. It is yours. It feeds the retailer disclosure answer and nothing else.

Can I import an existing draft?

DOCX, Markdown, Scrivener (.scriv), plain text and EPUB. Styles map to the manuscript model, chapters are detected for you to confirm, and every imported paragraph is recorded as Human.

Which retailers and formats are in Release 1?

Kindle EPUB 3 with accessibility metadata, KDP paperback, IngramSpark paperback, metadata and the AI-disclosure gate. Hardcover and further retailers follow in Release 2.

Who owns the rights?

You do, to every word. The ledger records origin; it never transfers ownership. BookForge assembles covers from artwork you supply or license and does not design them.

Release 1 opens to a small cohort first.

Write and publish — six launch genres, Story Bible, Coherence Engine, KDP and IngramSpark paperbacks, Kindle EPUB, accessibility validation and the AI-disclosure gate.
